AESIS Conference at Washington, DC

Dr. Sandra Lapointe, Project Director of The/La Collaborative, presented at a conference organised by AESIS: The Network for Advancing and Evaluating the Societal Impact of Science. An annual conference, this year it was held in Washington, DC at the National Museum of the American Indian on Oct 17th and 18th, 2019. The conference was dedicated to discussing the societal impact of social science and humanities and the way of engaging government, industry, and public as a whole. Dr. Lapointe presented on the topic “Making a change: Stimulating Impact of SSH”. Dr Lapointe is teaming up on behalf of The Collaborative with Dr David Phipps, Director of the Research Impact Network to host the next instalment of the conference in Toronto in October 2020.
