OHASSTA’s annual conference at McMaster University

The/La Collaborative hosted the Ontario History and Social Science Teachers’ Association’s (OHASSTA) annual conference at McMaster University on Nov 1st and Nov 2nd 2019. This year’s conference was on the topic “Thinking Classrooms: Thinking Citizens”. Over 100 educators from all over the province attended workshops on topics from Indigenous Content in the Law and Social Science Classroom to Thinking about LGBTQ+ Narratives in History. Exhibitors from various educational organizations also participated. We are glad that we got to support this organization and the wonderful teachers who strive to make education better for their students.
